About termites
Subterranean termites cause serious structural damage to timber roofs, door frames, fitted furniture and wooden floors across Nairobi. They travel from underground nests through mud tubes and can work unseen inside timber for years.
Signs to look for
- Mud tubes on walls, foundations and skirting
- Hollow-sounding or sagging timber
- Discarded wings near windows after rains
- Blistered paint or tiny holes in wood
- Flying termites (swarmers) in the evening
Our treatment approach
GradePestControl offers full soil barrier treatment (trenching and chemical soil poisoning around the foundation), drill-and-inject treatment through floors for existing buildings, direct nest treatment, and pre-construction soil poisoning for new builds. Barrier treatments carry a multi-year protection period.
How to prepare for treatment
- Give access around the full external foundation line
- Move stored timber and firewood away from walls
- Fix ground-level moisture and leaking gutters
Safety & environment
Termiticides are applied into soil and drilled points, not living spaces. Treated areas are sealed and safe for families and pets once work is complete.
Pricing: most residential termite treatment jobs range from KSh 3,500 depending on property size and infestation level. Request a free quote.
