About ants
Sugar ants, black garden ants and safari ants invade Nairobi kitchens and gardens in long trails, following scent paths to food and water. Spraying the visible trail alone never solves the problem — the colony simply reroutes.
Signs to look for
- Persistent trails along walls, sinks and window sills
- Small soil mounds along paths and foundations
- Ants swarming stored sugar, honey and pet food
- Flying ants indoors during rains
Our treatment approach
We identify the species and locate nests, then use slow-acting gel baits that workers carry back to kill the queen and colony, plus a residual barrier spray around the building perimeter. For safari ant invasions we treat marching columns and entry routes immediately.
How to prepare for treatment
- Wipe away visible trails with soapy water before baiting day only if instructed
- Store sweet foods in sealed containers
- Trim vegetation touching the walls of the house
Safety & environment
Baits are placed in stations inaccessible to children and pets. Perimeter sprays are pet-safe once dry.
