About cockroaches
Cockroaches (mainly German and American species in Nairobi) breed in warm, humid spots — kitchens, drains, behind fridges and inside cabinet hinges. They contaminate food and surfaces and are linked to allergies, asthma and food-borne illness.
Signs to look for
- Live roaches scattering when lights go on at night
- Pepper-like droppings in drawers and cabinet corners
- Egg cases (oothecae) behind appliances
- A greasy, musty smell in kitchens and stores
Our treatment approach
We combine odourless gel baiting in sensitive areas (kitchens, restaurants, food stores) with residual spraying of hiding places and drains. Gel baiting works by transfer — roaches carry the bait back to the nest, collapsing the colony. We recommend a quarterly maintenance plan for food businesses.
How to prepare for treatment
- Empty and wipe kitchen cabinets before treatment
- Fix leaking taps — roaches need water daily
- Store food in sealed containers and clear crumbs nightly
- Keep bins closed and emptied regularly
Safety & environment
Gel baits are placed in cracks and hinges out of reach of children and pets and have no smell. Sprayed areas are safe once dry (about 2 hours).
Pricing: most residential cockroach control jobs range from KSh 3,500 depending on property size and infestation level. Request a free quote.
